Nisqually River chinook salmon fishing producing decent catch rates.
Our eyes and ears on the water Amir Kalabic has been catching limits on the Nisqually. He says there’s lots of Chinook in the water right now and the fishing has been pretty good for just about everyone. Fishing beads is the name of the game on the Nisqually with a few guys running corkies catching fish as well.
Now is the time to hit the Nisqually, and if the Chinook run starts to fade the coho run is generally not far behind. Watch for seas though. They’ve been known to come up river and steal fish from anglers when they hook up. Good luck and fish one.
