2022 Dungeness River Fishing Report:

Due to low water levels the Dungee open late this year but we were there for season opener on the 22nd and it was well worth the trip. We were fortunate enogh to get into a massive school and were able to catch some amaxing fish. Our first hook up was with a beautiful Dollly Varden but it slipped out of my hand before we could get a picture of it. Next I hooked into a nice little coho fish using a double bead rig with Stone Cold Beads 6mm Orange Crusher Roe.

The next fish was another nice one caught with a Hoochie Bomb Dazzler casting spinner but the big one of the day was caught with out Horker Soft Baits 16mm Monster Chomp soft beads in the Ghost Shrimp color.

Next came one we caught was one an Addicted twitching jig by Mustad.

The Prodegy was digging it!

It was a great day fishing for the season opener on the Dungeness even with the late start. Fish are pushing up fast and be aware there are lots of wilds in the mix which can’t be retained. Good luck and we hope you enjoy your fishing adventure as mush as we did.

This concludes our 2022 Dungeness River Fishing Report.
