The amount of fish coming up the river has definitely stepped up a notch, yesterday they were flooding up the river in schools of 10-20 fish. I limited out within a couple hours, Today was a bit slower but I was able to get 3 out of my 4 but it took about me about 4 hours to make it happen. I fished Big Quil Estates which is always pretty good fishing, but there are fish in the entire river and guys were having success in both the upper and lower areas.

Of course, now that the run is fairly hot, there are ton’s of fisherman there as well. If you decide you want to give it a shot, expect company because the mob is there in all its glory. Another thing of note is that the fish are pretty small this year. So far I’ve only seen a few with any size to them, but they are probably better eating that the big ones anyway.
