2014 Nooksack river fishing report:
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has announced that the Nooksack river will reopen to sport fishing on 1/1/2014. The Kendall Creek and Whatcom Creek hatchery facilities have met broodstock needs from returning hatchery winter steelhead to meet basin production goals. Areas to open on the Nooksack are as follows:
The Nooksack River from mouth to the confluence of the North and South Forks.
The South Fork Nooksack from mouth to Skookum Creek.
The Middle Fork Nooksack from mouth to city of Bellingham diversion dam.
The North Fork from mouth to Nooksack Falls.
