The Chum are starting to show in numbers making it more difficult to get to the Coho. The runs have been fairly slow the last couple days but limits can still be caught hole hunting the river. The next few days will be your best bet as the first of September the tribes will start fishing the river for sustenance. It’s been a pretty good season on the Quilcene this year offering up much bigger fish than in years past. If you looking to gun for Coho the Big Quilcene is still a go.
