The water levels on the Cowlitz river have dropped again but there are still a good number of fish being caught between the two hatcheries on cured eggs under a float. The upper Cowlitz at Cowlitz falls has been like a roller coaster, one day good fishing and dead for a few days. This system only gets good when Tacoma power trucks 2-5 loads a day. Methods used, trolling herring, float, and eggs.
