This year the Cowlitz river Steelhead season has been excellent. Lots of fish being caught on that beautiful strip of water. While in the field doing research the other day, I interviewed an angler who had one Steelhead the stringer and reported his buddy had caught 3 Steelhead within an hour earlier that day. The Cowlitz is a definite go for a chance at some good Steelhead fishing this weekend. Our official Lunker’s Guide fishing forecast for the CowliRiverver is Good to Excellent. Good luck and FISH ON!
