Skykomish River steelhead season off to a slow start
So far the steelhead fishing on the Skykomish river has been pretty slow. Catch rates are pretty much none existent and we haven’t had any reports of anglers catching fish. The escapement numbers are terrible as well with both the Wallace and Reiter Pond hatcheries only reporting a few steelhead in the traps. This season is turning out to be a bust on the Skykomish with many anglers seeking other alternatives as the Sky simply isn’t producing this year.
This concludes our 2018 Skykomish River Fishing Report.
