2016 Columbia River Fishing Report:
Water levels on the Columbia river are running normal for this time of year with 3-4 feet visibility. I can not get over how many Spring Chinook are already in the Columbia for this time of year, which reminds me of the old days when the smelt entered the River the Springers came with them. On a side note there have been fairly descent numbers of Springers being caught from Vancouver to Cathlamet. Method of choice, Down River trolling, which is our specialty.
