Retention of adipose fin-clipped steelhead is allowed in the Smith River mainstem from the mouth upstream to Spencer Creek and in the North Fork of the Smith River from the mouth upstream to Johnson Creek. Fall Chinook fishing is also open in the mainstem Smith River from the mouth upstream to Spencer Creek, and in the North Fork of Smith River from the mouth upstream to Johnson Creek.
