The Satsop river has been re-opened from the confluence with West Fork Satsop River to bridge at Schafer State Park. Daily limits of 2 salmon per day are allowed. Release all wild chinook and wild coho. Beginning Dec 1, 2015, all chinook must be released.
Our eyes and ears on the water reports that there are a bunch of coho in the river right now with a mix of wild and hatchery fish. Once again be aware you can only retain hatchery Coho and hatchery Chinook in the area of the river currently open for salmon retention. Anglers are having success, floating and eggs or twitching jigs.
