2015 Satsop River fishing report:
The Satsop river has been re-opened from the confluence with West Fork Satsop River to bridge at Schafer State Park. Daily limits of 2 salmon per day are allowed. Release all wild chinook and wild coho. Beginning Dec 1, 2015 all chinook must be released.
Our guide Swanny reports that there are a bunch of coho in the river right now with a mix of wild and hatchery fish. Once again be aware you can only retain hatchery Coho and hatchery Chinook in the area of the river currently open for salmon retention. Swannys says anglers are having success, floating and eggs or twitching jigs.
