It’s been a pretty good season opener on the Puyallup river so far. Anglers are reporting decent numbers of Pinks and Chinook coming up the river and pretty good catch counts as well. Right now is the time you’ll want hit the river if you don’t like crowds. Once the run gets really hot and it can get hard to find a spot. The AM bite seems to be the most productive and the old corky and yarn with a little scent does the trick.
