With all the recent closures the Lewis River is one of the few rivers still open for salmon fishing. Even with the recent rain, the Lewis river water levels are still pretty low and fishing hasn’t exactly been stellar. There are kings in the river, but many are fairly dark with a few bright ones mixed in. The Coho run has been very slow as well but could pick up with water levels if the rain continues. Best bets are still up by the hatchery or at the mouth.
