Before the rains hit, the salmon and steelhead fishing was pretty good on the Trask river. We fished the area from laurens drift down, and had regular hook ups with chinook and steelhead. Be sure to check your water levels before you head out as levels have been high over the last week. Once the levels drop the fishing should be good to excellent.
