This time of year the salmon and steelhead fishing in southwest Oregon really gets to jumping. Over the past week we had the opportunity to hit the Southern Coast and take advantage of this great fishery. “It was unbelievable” There was lots of winter King action on the Elk and the Sixes rivers making for a the fishing trip of a lifetime. We saw anywhere from 10-19 fish per day and was able to catch a few big ones. The technique we used was Floating eggs, or Back bouncing eggs, cured in Zilla Bait.
