Steelhead have entered the river in good numbers.
Angler’s are reporting decent catch rates on the Sol Duc right now, with ample steelhead numbers through out the river system. Best bets are to drift the river from Maxfield down, or if your bank fishing try three rivers or up at the hatchery. Be aware these are mostly wild fish which means it’s a catch and release affair. Also remember that it’s against the law to remove wild steelhead from the water, please use best catch and release practices.
