When we got a hold of Bill Swan of Swannys fishing to get the word on the Wynoocheee, Bill had some interesting intel for us. The Wynoochee has been one of the better steelhead fishing rivers this year. Even with tons of fishing pressure, this little river just keeps on giving.
The word of the week is that over the weekend the Wynoochee river was on Fire. Water levels were high but still offered great visibility with limits all around. The method of choice side drifting eggs cured in Zillabait. Remember as water levels drop stay off the holes and cast farther as not to spook the fish.
