2016 Cowlitz River Fishing Report:

The average flow was 12,000 cfm, more steelhead are being caught from Blue Creek to Salmon Hatchery, Many people ask us why are the steelhead going to the salmon hatchery, That is where the state releases a majority of the baby smolts. Method of choice, Side drifting corky and yarn, Drifting eggs.
