After the Spring Chinook started moving through the lower Klamath river back in the end of May, we are now seeing decent numbers enter the Trinity river. The river level have atarted to drop and the salmon fishing on the Trinity has been pretty good.
The river flows will be at the lowest by the end of this month with just 450 cfs being released from the Lewiston dam. Target the lower from Grays Falls upriver. Best bets are side drifting roe/tuna balls or back bounced small Brad’s KF-15 killifish lures with a sardine wrap. Spring Chinook fishing will be good through mid July.
