2015 Methow River Fishing Report:
A section of the Methow River will remain open to Steelhead retention until further notice. The area is defined as From the mouth to the upstream boundary of Heckendorn Park in Winthrop and from Highway 20 bridge in Winthrop to the confluence of the Chewuch River. Fishing from a floating device is prohibited from the second powerline crossing (1 mile upstream from the mouth) to the first Hwy 153 Bridge (4 miles upstream from the mouth). All hatchery Steelhead caught must be retained and applied to daily catch limit.
