Usually this time of the year the Cowlitz is producing good numbers of Coho, but again there is very little water and 1-2 keeper coho a day. Side-drifting cured roe has been the ticket. Try and focus down low on the system by the mouth of Toutle river for your biggest numbers of coho and you just might hook up with a Chinook as well.
