This past week there was an emergency order put out for the Chehalis to close today, Monday, October 26th. The WDFW indicated that the closure was due to lack of Coho coming back to the hatchery and wild Coho to the mid to upper Chehalis… However, I personally saw the best fishing this past week on Coho in the Chehalis. Casting Hardware and twitching jigs were the methods of choice.
