The Steelhead fishing has been pretty decent as of late on the Humptulips River. I spoke with my connections at the hatchery and he said that the numbers were still lower than they had expected but more should be coming up any day. Historically this time of year is about the middle of the Steelhead run on the Humptulips, but the fish have been coming in late this year.
Anglers have still been having success fishing for Steelhead on the Humptulips River, and the fish are bright too. Since the bulk of this year’s Steelhead run hasn’t come up the river so far, the fishing can only get better. Our official Steelhead fishing forecast for the Humptulips is Good to Great!
