The Humptulips river area (538) From the mouth to the Confluence of the East and West Forks. Salmon fishing opens today 9/1/2014. The Season opener on the Humptulips is usually pretty slow but picks up significantly mid to the end of September. Still, even though it’s the beginning of the Humptulips River Salmon season there may be a few small schools pushing up. Also, the Humptulips offers up high bag limits at 3 Adult fish per day allowed, only one adult Chinook may be retained and anglers must release wild Coho.
