The fishing on the Wilson has been getting better and better every day. We have been catching more hatchery fish than natives this week with some larger broodstock fish are starting to show up. The ticket this week has been beads! All 7 fish we caught today were on 10mm beads of various colors (didn’t seem to matter the color they just wanted beads!).. including a very bright native chinook we hooked into as well (cannot keep them, but boy what a fight on light tackle!). The river looks like it is going to be out of shape for the weekend, but early next week should be great through out the river. You’ll want to be focusing higher in the river system when water is higher.
